To challenge and encourage every child to discover their potential through purposeful teaching and learning

Largs Bay School offers students a caring and nurturing learning environment.  Our dedicated and experienced teachers provide a positive and enriching program, appreciating the individual needs and interests of each child (Reception to Year Six).

Our values of respect, responsibility and persistence provide the basis for all we do at Largs Bay School.

The school has a proud history and many current students are second or third generation attendees of Largs Bay School.

We are proud of our past as well as being confident of the future. Learning is the key to that future.

We are committed to excellence in learning, caring for people and for the environment.

Largs Bay School Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) is a non-for-profit educational and care service for the children of Largs Bay School and the wider community.

We believe that our service fosters and develops safe, secure, and meaningful relationships between children and their families by supporting their individual social, emotional, physical and behavioural needs.

Acknowledgement of Country

We acknowledge the traditional owners throughout South Australia and we pay respect to the Kaurna People as the custodians of the Adelaide Region of the land and waterways on which we live and learn.

We respect their spiritual relationship with Country and acknowledge that their cultural and heritage beliefs are still as important to those living today.

We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging and we acknowledge the cultural authority of Aboriginal people visiting from other areas of South Australia and Australia present here today.
